Mastay is a 2-in-1 kinetic piece — a compact storage tower that unfolds into a horizontal collaborative workspace. The trapezoid geometry of the Incan K'allku archway drove the form language: stable, structural, culturally grounded.
A full assembly brief was produced documenting the kinetic transformation sequence — from tower configuration to collaborative workspace. Industrial drawer sliders and high-strength hinges are the core mechanical components.
Full fabrication documentation — from raw material and initial cuts through mechanism testing, iteration, and surface finishing. 34 steps captured in sequence.

Completed piece — both tower and workspace configurations. Industrial drawer sliders, high-strength hinges, clean wood finish.
