The Wavy Chair bridges the organic and the industrial, seamlessly blending wood and concrete — assembled entirely through friction fit, with no adhesives or fasteners holding it together.
Technical orthographic views were generated to establish precise dimensions for the 1:6 scale prototype.
CNC routing, hand-carving the wavy legs, casting concrete molds from 3D-printed formwork — every joint angle and pour tolerance engineered to lock together under load through friction alone, no glue or fasteners, documented in sequence.
The final realization of the Wavy Chair highlights the organic flow of the design and the structural harmony between its unique material components.
